Doren Specialist Hospital
Doren Specialist Hospital is a multi-specialist hospital with state of the equipment, renowned for its medical expertise, excellent nursing care, quality diagnostic and dedicated team of qualified doctors.
Founded in 1996 as Doren Pharmacy & Clinic, and incorporated in 2003, Doren Specialist Hospital has stood the test of time in Healthcare delivery within Lagos and had made name in providing high standard healthcare delivery to all of its clients within the country.
Due to expansion and the need to render specialist services, this service was up-graded to a full-fledged Hospital and incorporated accordingly. The Hospital is situated at #1, OsaPaul Street [formally Kemfat Road], Thomas Village Estate, Ajah (KM 28, Lagos-Epe Express Way). Lagos Nigeria.

Each facility comprises of the Male Surgical Wards, Children Wards, Female Surgical Wards, Maternity/Gynaecology Wards, Private Wards, Executive Private Wards, Recovery Rooms, Theatres, Consulting Rooms, Casualty/Emergency Rooms, Stores, Nurses/Doctors’ Rooms, Fully Stocked Pharmacies, Physiotherapy Unit, Laboratories etc. Patients’ records are electronic. Non- medical staff of varied ranks are also employed to complement the role of the professionals in medical services delivery.

CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR
DR. E. O. EKONG – B.Sc., MBChB, FWACS, FICS – CMD/CEO
Dr Ekong is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with over 30 years of Experience in Practice. He worked for the Ministry of Defense, where he successfully rose to Grade Level 17 before retiring. During his time under the Ministry of Defense, He was Chief Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for the Military Hospital Yaba. Dr Ekong also covered Clinics for reputable hospitals such as St Nicholas Hospital Lagos, Hanoba Clinics, the Airforce Clinic Ikeja, as well as NNPC in Ikoyi.
He was also an examiner for the West African College of Surgeons and till date is a keen believer in passing on knowledge to the younger generation of surgeons as well as keeping up to date with the newest trends in Orthopaedic management such as Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty.
He is an active member of the AGMPN as well as National Orthopaedic Association.
