Total Knee & Hip Replacement
Worn joints, replaced. Movement, restored.
Total knee and total hip replacement for patients whose pain no longer responds to medication or therapy — planned, performed, and rehabilitated by the same team, start to finish.
When it's recommended
Total joint replacement is considered once osteoarthritis or joint damage causes pain and stiffness that limits daily life, and conservative options , medication, injections, physiotherapy that no longer help. A worn joint surface is removed and replaced with a durable implant, restoring a natural range of motion.
The two procedures
Different joints, same standard of care
Total Hip Replacement
The worn femoral head and hip socket are replaced with an artificial ball-and-socket implant, relieving pain from arthritis, fractures, or joint deterioration.
Total Knee Replacement
Damaged cartilage and bone at the end of the femur and top of the tibia are resurfaced with a hinged implant, restoring bend and stability to the joint.
